In celebration of the second year of STEAM at the elementary level, each of our nine elementary schools has created a unique “school tree,” showcasing student creativity through art and innovation.

Take a moment to read an overview of the safety procedures in place across our district. 

The 2025-2026 school year calendar is available to view or download. Please note, each elementary school and Derby High School will begin their school day five minutes earlier this year.

This guide is designed to help families, students and community members know where to start when they have a question, concern or need support.

Park Hill Elmentary PTO is holding a t-shirt fundraiser to collect money for the school! Not only does this fundraiser include t-shirt, but it also includes sweatshirts and beanies/hats.

Park Hill's PTO meets monthly in person at the school at 6PM. Parent sign up is not required, all parents are welcome at any time! Childcare is provided on site during PTO meetings. 

We take the safety of our students seriously. Please review our Drop Off/Pick Up Procedures to ensure a safe, effective drop off and pick up process. 

The Park Hill SITE Council serves to offer guidance and counsel to the school on performance goals and objectives. It facilitates communication between schools, school organizations, and the community.

Derby Public Schools is dedicated to maintaining safe and supportive environments across the district. To help prevent school violence and address bullying, we provide several easy, confidential and anonymous ways to report concerns.
