About Our School

Once a Husky, Always a Husky

Park Hill Elementary offers a unique setting for learning. The building utilizes a multi-grade level pod system (Early Childhood/Kindergarten/1st, 2nd/3rd, 4th/5th). Individual classrooms within the pod offer students a quiet learning environment while open pod areas encourage cooperation and freedom to discover. In addition to this collaboration within the building, Park Hill also emphasizes civic engagement and was recognized in the inaugural class of the Civic Advocacy Network (CAN) as a School of Excellence.

At the center of the school is the media center. Filled with special reading areas and books covering various genres, students are encouraged to explore new ideas and discover personal growth. Park Hill was named a Project Lead The Way Distinguished School in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. The use of technology is a catapult to the learning that occurs at Park Hill. Students use iPads (1:1 Early Childhood-1st), Chromebooks (1:1 2nd-5th), SMART Boards and other tools to participate in hands-on learning and creativity.

Teachers and support staff are highly qualified and dedicated to helping each student develop academically and socially. Our school offers tiered programs for support, gifted services, along with specialized programs for other student needs. Park Hill staff go above and beyond to build relationships with students through every day interactions, involvement in extracurricular activities and community-building events. We strive to make learning meaningful, fun and engaging. Our Park Hill family has unbeatable pride for our school, district and community!
